Introducing Rags: The new way to discover the coolest clothing brands on the planet.
It has always interested me that clothing brand discovery happens so passively; whether it’s by stumbling on an Instagram account, getting advertised to, or randomly seeing someone on the street looking good. I’ve wondered for a while whether a site that allowed you to do this actively would be better. Well, I’m finally going to get my answer.
I launched Rags a week ago and just finished tidying up the about page. I wanted to share it in hopes of getting some early feedback.
About Rags
Rags is a place for discovering the coolest clothing brands on the planet, powered by a community of people who care about what they put on their bodies. Whether you’re here because you want to look good, feel good, protect our planet, buy something that will last a lifetime, support small local businesses, or all of the above, we got you.
The site was born out of the frustration of how hard it was to discover clothing brands who design and make their clothes the right way. Random old blog posts and Instagram weren’t doing it for us so we decided to build something better.

We vet every brand we add to the platform to make sure they’re worth knowing about. If we don’t say to ourselves “whoa, they’re awesome” then they don’t make it. As you’re exploring the site you can be confident that every brand you see is unique and cool in some way.
Our goal is to be the destination for finding new clothing brands so we can help direct money to the people that are making the world a better place. If this also matters to you then come along for the ride.
